Sherman Patent Search Group continues to bolster its expertise, adding Sonia Kumar, PhD to its powerhouse team
Sherman Patent Search Group, a leader in patent searches for large corporations, law firms, inventors and universities, continues its summer of growth by adding Sonia Kumar to its venerated patent search team.
Kumar’s deep knowledge and ongoing scientific curiosity in the fields of anatomic pathology, hematology, oncology, immunology and in vitro diagnostics will play a key role in SPSG’s growing diversity of expertise. A biomedical engineer by training, Kumar received her B.S. in Biomedical Engineering at Northwestern University, followed by her PhD in the same field at the University of Texas at Austin.

Kumar resides just outside of Boston, MA with her husband and two sons. Outside of SPSG, she enjoys throwing dinner parties and traveling.
